Our cover competition's closed, we've sorted through all the entries, the judging panel has scratched its collective head and I'm delighted to announce that our August cover star will be... Greg Edwards, co-founder of the Giraffe Conservation Foundation. We all thought his entry was very cleverly written and his cause is an outstanding one.

But if you haven't won, you don't necessarily have to be disheartened. There were so many impressive entries that we've decided to feature a handful of runners up in the August issue too. We'll be contacting them in due course.
