There are few things in life as satisfying and yet simultaneously nerve-jangling as launching a new product.

All that research, talking to customers, talking to advertisers, talking to each other (and eventually talking to onseself as deadline looms). All the late nights and early mornings. All the empty bottles of Diet Coke, the dirty coffee cups and random Post-It notes strewn around the desk. Well, all that is over (although strictly speaking my desk remains a terrible mess) and babusinesslife.com and the new-look Business Life magazine are the results.

Over the last 23 years since its launch in 1986 Business Life magazine has been informing, entertaining, getting access to the biggest business figures in the world and delivering a great read for passengers on BA short haul flights. With babusinesslife.com we are spreading our message out from the skies and into the homes, the phones and the travelling laptops of the business community. Our aim is simple: to give you something useful and entertaining. We want Business Life and babusinesslife.com to give you ideas, help you hone your business skills, make you question the way you do things, and do it in a way that puts a thought in your head and occasionally, a smile on your face.

Our contributors online and in the magazine are the best in their fields, from our resident agony aunt Deborah Meaden to persuasion expert and bestselling author Steve Martin and economics guru (and also bestselling author) Tim Harford and many more.

Of course if you dont agree with them, or have helpful suggestions to offer, all the content on the website is interactive and you can comment on every article here (including this one). Whatever your position in business, as a CEO of a multi-national or a one man band, there are things we can all learn from one another, so dont be shy. Feel free to go to our hotels pages and recommend one you know well, or a restaurant or bar thats perfect for a deal-closing drink. You can join the discussion on what you can really learn from Darth Vaders management style or comment on our feature about why meetings really matter.

Mostly babusinesslife.com is about what it can do for you, and what we can all do for each other. Get clicking.
